JDRB Water Billing ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle data for the JDRB Water Billing mobile application and its associated Customer Portal.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information: We collect client names, addresses, contact numbers, and unique Account Numbers to manage water billing records and portal access.
Financial Records: We store billing history, meter readings, and payment records.
Photos and Images: The App allows users to upload images for Payment Verification (proof of payment screenshots) and Service Reports (photos of water leaks or issues). These images are stored securely in our cloud database.
Account Data: We use Firebase Authentication to manage administrator accounts via email.

2. Use of Permissions

Storage/Media: Used to allow you to select and upload payment screenshots or leak photos.
Bluetooth: Used solely to discover and connect to thermal receipt printers.
Biometrics: Used for the optional "App Lock" feature. We do not store biometric data.
Notifications: Used for data synchronization and payment status alerts.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored locally on your device and synchronized to Google Firebase secure cloud servers. This allows administrators to manage records and customers to view their bills via the portal. We implement SSL encryption for all data in transit.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase for data hosting, authentication, and cloud synchronization. We do not sell or share your personal data with any other third parties.

5. Customer Portal Access

Customers can access their own billing records using a unique Account Number provided by their billing administrator. This access is restricted to the specific customer's data only.

Account Deletion Request

You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data (Clients, Bills, Payments, and Images).

Option 1: In-App Deletion

Open the App -> Settings -> Delete Account. This will immediately and permanently remove your data from our cloud servers.

Option 2: Email Request

If you can no longer access the app, you may click the button below to send a manual deletion request. Please include your registered email address in the message.
